These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Becky’s Dog Retreat & Spa website
and the boarding, daycare, and grooming services we provide. By using our website, contacting
us, booking a service, or leaving your dog in our care, you agree to these Terms. Please read
them carefully.
1. About Us
Becky’s Dog Retreat & Spa provides private, in-home dog boarding, daycare, and grooming & spa
services in South Florida. We intentionally welcome only one dog family at a time so we can give
each dog individual attention and care. Services are offered by appointment only.
2. Our Services
Our services include:
• Boarding — private, in-home overnight care, including exercise, playtime, supervised outdoor
and saltwater pool access, and personal attention.
• Daycare — supervised daytime care with play, social time, and companionship.
• Grooming & Spa — one-on-one grooming, including luxury baths, full grooms, and spa
treatments, by appointment only.
3. Meet & Greet Requirement
Every new boarding guest must complete a Meet & Greet before their first stay. This lets us meet
you and your dog, tour our home, and understand your dog’s routine, personality, and needs. We
reserve the right to decline or discontinue service if we determine, in our judgment, that a stay
would not be a good fit for the safety and comfort of your dog, other guests, or our household.
4. Bookings & Appointments
Because we accept only one dog family at a time, availability is limited and advance reservations
are strongly recommended. A booking is confirmed only once we have agreed on the dates and
service directly with you. Submitting a form or inquiry is a request, not a confirmed booking.
5. Pricing & Payment
Current rates are listed on our Pricing page. Boarding is charged per night, with additional charges
for holiday stays. Grooming prices are based on your dog’s size and coat type, and the final
grooming price may vary depending on coat condition, matting, temperament, length, and the time
required. Additional services and spa treatments are priced separately. We will confirm applicable
charges with you, and payment is due as agreed at the time of service unless we arrange
otherwise.
6. Health, Vaccinations & Behavior
To protect all dogs in our care, you agree that:
• Your dog is in good health and up to date on vaccinations appropriate for boarding and
grooming, and you will provide records on request.
• Your dog is free of fleas, ticks, and contagious conditions; if any are found, we may treat them
at your cost or decline service.
• You have disclosed any medical conditions, medications, allergies, dietary needs, and any
history of aggression, biting, anxiety, or other behavioral concerns.
We reserve the right to refuse or end a stay or appointment if a dog shows signs of illness or
behavior that could endanger the dog, other animals, or people.
7. Emergency & Veterinary Care
If your dog becomes ill or injured while in our care, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you
and, if needed, your veterinarian. If we cannot reach you and we believe your dog needs care, you
authorize us to seek veterinary treatment on your behalf. You are responsible for all veterinary and
related costs incurred for your dog.
8. Owner Responsibilities
You confirm that you are the legal owner of the dog (or authorized to act for the owner), that the
information you provide is accurate and complete, and that you will supply everything we agree is
needed for your dog’s stay, such as food, medication, and instructions. You are responsible for
any property damage or injury caused by your dog to the extent permitted by law.
9. Grooming Terms
Grooming is provided one-on-one and by appointment only. The health and comfort of your dog
always comes first. In cases of severe matting, we may need to shave the coat rather than risk
injury from de-matting, and additional charges may apply for excessive matting or coat conditions
that require extra time. We will do our best to achieve the style you request, but results depend on
your dog’s coat, condition, and temperament.
10. Photos & Media
We take photos and videos of your dog and share them with you during their stay. With your
consent, we may also use photos of your dog on our website, gallery, or social media. You may
withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us.
11. Liability
We care for every dog as if they were our own and take reasonable precautions to keep them
safe. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Becky’s Dog Retreat & Spa is not liable for
illness, injury, escape, loss, or death of a dog that occurs despite our reasonable care, or for
conditions that were pre-existing or not disclosed to us. By using our services, you accept the
normal risks associated with dog boarding, daycare, grooming, exercise, socialization, and
supervised pool access.
12. Cancellations & Late Pickup
Because we reserve our home for one dog family at a time, we ask that you notify us as early as
possible if you need to change or cancel a booking. Please collect your dog at the agreed time; if
you are delayed, contact us promptly so we can make arrangements. Additional charges may
apply for extended stays or late pickups.
13. Website Use
The content on this website — including text, images, and branding — belongs to Becky’s Dog
Retreat & Spa and may not be copied or reused without our permission. You agree to use our
website lawfully and not to interfere with its operation or submit false information through our
forms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to
conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute relating to our services or website will be handled in the
appropriate courts located in Florida.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this
page with an updated effective date. Continuing to use our website or services after changes are
posted means you accept the updated Terms.

We firmly believe that the internet should be available and accessible to anyone, and are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of circumstance and ability.
To fulfill this, we aim to adhere as strictly as possible to the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) at the AA level. These guidelines explain how to make web content accessible to people with a wide array of disabilities. Complying with those guidelines helps us ensure that the website is accessible to all people: blind people, people with motor impairments, visual impairment, cognitive disabilities, and more.
This website utilizes various technologies that are meant to make it as accessible as possible at all times. We utilize an accessibility interface that allows persons with specific disabilities to adjust the website’s UI (user interface) and design it to their personal needs.
Additionally, the website utilizes an AI-based application that runs in the background and optimizes its accessibility level constantly. This application remediates the website’s HTML, adapts Its functionality and behavior for screen-readers used by the blind users, and for keyboard functions used by individuals with motor impairments.
If you’ve found a malfunction or have ideas for improvement, we’ll be happy to hear from you. You can reach out to the website’s operators by using the following email
Our website implements the ARIA attributes (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) technique, alongside various different behavioral changes, to ensure blind users visiting with screen-readers are able to read, comprehend, and enjoy the website’s functions. As soon as a user with a screen-reader enters your site, they immediately receive a prompt to enter the Screen-Reader Profile so they can browse and operate your site effectively. Here’s how our website covers some of the most important screen-reader requirements, alongside console screenshots of code examples:
Screen-reader optimization: we run a background process that learns the website’s components from top to bottom, to ensure ongoing compliance even when updating the website. In this process, we provide screen-readers with meaningful data using the ARIA set of attributes. For example, we provide accurate form labels; descriptions for actionable icons (social media icons, search icons, cart icons, etc.); validation guidance for form inputs; element roles such as buttons, menus, modal dialogues (popups), and others. Additionally, the background process scans all the website’s images and provides an accurate and meaningful image-object-recognition-based description as an ALT (alternate text) tag for images that are not described. It will also extract texts that are embedded within the image, using an OCR (optical character recognition) technology. To turn on screen-reader adjustments at any time, users need only to press the Alt+1 keyboard combination. Screen-reader users also get automatic announcements to turn the Screen-reader mode on as soon as they enter the website.
These adjustments are compatible with all popular screen readers, including JAWS and NVDA.
Keyboard navigation optimization: The background process also adjusts the website’s HTML, and adds various behaviors using JavaScript code to make the website operable by the keyboard. This includes the ability to navigate the website using the Tab and Shift+Tab keys, operate dropdowns with the arrow keys, close them with Esc, trigger buttons and links using the Enter key, navigate between radio and checkbox elements using the arrow keys, and fill them in with the Spacebar or Enter key.Additionally, keyboard users will find quick-navigation and content-skip menus, available at any time by clicking Alt+1, or as the first elements of the site while navigating with the keyboard. The background process also handles triggered popups by moving the keyboard focus towards them as soon as they appear, and not allow the focus drift outside it.
Users can also use shortcuts such as “M” (menus), “H” (headings), “F” (forms), “B” (buttons), and “G” (graphics) to jump to specific elements.
We aim to support the widest array of browsers and assistive technologies as possible, so our users can choose the best fitting tools for them, with as few limitations as possible. Therefore, we have worked very hard to be able to support all major systems that comprise over 95% of the user market share including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Opera and Microsoft Edge, JAWS and NVDA (screen readers).
Despite our very best efforts to allow anybody to adjust the website to their needs. There may still be pages or sections that are not fully accessible, are in the process of becoming accessible, or are lacking an adequate technological solution to make them accessible. Still, we are continually improving our accessibility, adding, updating and improving its options and features, and developing and adopting new technologies. All this is meant to reach the optimal level of accessibility, following technological advancements. For any assistance, please reach out to
